I ordered the Ultraguard Car Cover - Red/Black last Friday. Today (Tuesday) it is on my car. Incredibly fast delivery and I really like the cover. Thanks for a good product.

Hey Chip,
Which cover do you recommend for a C5 that's stored in a garage. I really just want to try to keep the dust off of it and keep my wife and kids from touching it. Was thinking of an electric fence for the wife/kid issue but installation is a b@#%^.

I was thinking about getting a metal building for storing my Vette (when I get it), but I don't know if I want to spend that much money, so I've been thinking about getting a cover. I have many questions.
1. Are these water proof, all weather covers?
2. How well do they breathe (obviously, mildew is a major concern).
3. Do they protect against UV?
4. All the vehicle covers I've had in the past have been absolutely terrible about being dust magnets, and they generally leave more dust on the vehicles than if I had not used a cover at all. How are these for not doing this?
I will probably have more questions, but this will do for now. Thanks.

1. Are these water proof,
No such thing, and you would 100% not want one if there was such a thing
all weather covers?
Yes there are all weather covers
2. How well do they breathe (obviously, mildew is a major concern).
Yes covers are all breathable, which is why they are not waterproof...
3. Do they protect against UV?
Some do
4. All the vehicle covers I've had in the past have been absolutely terrible about being dust magnets, and they generally leave more dust on the vehicles than if I had not used a cover at all. How are these for not doing this?
Cover care is key here. Dirty covers leave dust and pollen on the car, which is the #1 way to scratch your paint.
Each cover has different care instructions, depending on what type of fabric it is
I will probably have more questions, but this will do for now. Thanks
Feel free to PM me your needs (what you want the cover to do)
or
Give me a call during business hours and I would be glad to walk you threw it

Chip,
I need cover to withstand 100% outdoor Hawaii sun and rain, and fits well. My last "outdoor cover" only lasted 3 years before surface shredding so I don't want to repeat that problem. Cover will be on car for weeks at a time and would always leave a thin layer of dust on car when cover came off. Always required a quick Aero-wax wipe-down before I would go anywhere. Would rather not have to do that every-time with the new cover. What would you recommend? Mahalo, professor jim
