We purchased the original tooling so that each cap is exactly the same as original.

If a factory cap needs to be replaced, what is the procedure to remove your cover from the cap to install on the new one? How difficult is the coolant cap to unscrew from the tank with your smooth cover on it?

Real simple, our caps just press/slide over the factory cap, so if you want to remove a factory cap just simply slide the nakid cap off.
