Add Apple Carplay or Android Auto to your C5 with the Kenwood DDX9903S ONLY $799.99
The all new Kenwood DDX9903S has been the best selling radio for us this year out of all double din packages we offer!
Why the Kenwood DDX 9903S you ask?
Well this one will give you everything your going to want in an upgrade!
The 9903S does NOT have built in NAV(this would be the 893 for those who want built in NAV) But does have CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO for NAV use displayed on the screen. Lets face it I would prob say 90% of the time is the average that all of you get in the car and know where your going. So the other 10% of the time is when the NAV comes into play. So with this said its always my suggestion to not pay for something built in that your only going to use 10% of the time and let your phone do this for you! As a plus your phone will always have updated maps as well so no need to ever worry about outdated NAV maps on your radio. Only downfall is your data plan. Since this is using data this has to be taken into consideration if this is an option for you. Also take note that streaming of music on any NAV or NON NAV radio also uses up data.
BOTH the Carplay and the Android Auto are a connection required feature meaning you simply take your USB charging cable and connect it to the dedicated USB cable which is about 3 ft long and will extend to the location of your choice in the car.
Once connected you will have a new icon appear on the screen which will allow you access to the features of Android Auto and Carplay.

Not only are you going to get the phone features on the new radio but this 9903S also comes with the capacitive touch screen. The capacitive touch screen will reduce the amount of sun glare your going to have on the screen in a couple or vert with the top off or down. Will it eliminate all of it...no but it will be much easier to see than one that does not have the capacitive touch screen or even the stock NAV screen for example.
Of course it also has all the bells and whistles your going to want/expect in the radio.

I should have waited for this one ^^^
I bought the 9902S, and the interface and maps work exceedingly well, but the older model has a resistive style screen that can be impossible to see in bright light conditions.
Capacitave screen for the win!

The harness is slightly different so you would need to rewire it .

Android Auto is also an amazing feature if you're running the android OS. I can't get over how great it is to seamlessly run google maps on my radio with live traffic updates. It displays and reads your text messages to you, and you can even voice-to-text a response, all hands free.
Android auto and Apple car play is the future.
