That is awesome. You must have a sore butt from all that seat time. Definitely not a garage queen.

That just goes to show how reliable this engine really is!! Thanks for sharing, that is freaking awesome.

Take care of her and she'll take care of you.

I guess if you're stuck in a car 24/7 your whole life, you may as well get one you like.

Interesting he's still driving a C5 and didn't move on to the C6.

I have gone 250,000 plus miles in 3 Full size GMC pickups, and they were still going strong, but couldn't wait to get into the next one !!

There are many times I have thought that maybe I shouldn't drive my car as much as I do, to keep the mileage down just in case. And then I'll think it's paid for and enjoy driving it as much as I do. It just makes me feel good and makes a bad work day much better. I bought my '03 Z06 new, I do all my maintenance and repairs myself and it still runs great with no problems. It has only 153k miles. My last repair was the RF directional burned out.

That is truly amazing!

I'm on the other end of the spectrum. My '97 which is 20 years old this month only has 64K on it. And there are many on this forum who have much less than that on their C5.

Even if I lived to be a thousand years old, I don't think I would hit that kind of mileage on my C5. My '03 only has 21K on it now.

I would like to know the service history he never claimed it had the original drivetrain.

If it has been rebuilt than what is the point in bragging about the mileage

My '01, originally bought by me, has 25,500 miles on it.
