Update time!!
Alright, Finally got the car dyno tuned.
Video:
Ok first off, on this dyno pull my passenger axle twisted itself, blew the boot and shot grease all over the exhaust, you can see it at about 15 seconds into the video when the tuner lets off. we were going to clip the boot back, but thats when we found out it had been replaced with a reman auto parts store axle, stock axles don't twist with this much power. FML! I got pretty lucky though and found someone local selling c5z axles for $100 that was a no brainer!
Anyways...numbers...
I was really hoping for much better numbers, but I had alot working against me, 1. I am still on stock fuel injectors, 2. im on stock 243 heads and ls6 intake. 3. i still have the stock TB, MAF, Induction system, save for the blackwing filter. 4. Even though i am running a good sized cam (for a 346 or 364) it is just a tad small for the 383 i have. 5. I am running cats (dont know what brand or anything, I just know they pass emissions so im probably losing 5-10 hp there)
Regardless of all that, I am still very happy with the car, she runs great and puts a smile on my face.
Now here is the issue...I am at a crossroad with the car, As most of you know, I have another c5 which is twin turbo, Two years ago I blew the motor on that and had a shop fix and upgrade the car well since then I have been nothing but unhappy with how it came out. Last year I dropped the car off to UPP (Forum Sponsor) to fix all the little things that made me unhappy, they did an excellent job repairing and fixing the other shops mistakes and made the car fun again. Now here we are and the z06 is acting up again, which put me at another crossroads continue down the turbo path, and just give up on having a daily driveable turbo car (i know its possible, but it's expensive since I don't do my own wrenching) and turn it into a full on race car, or start over...
Thanks to how much fun the red car is, I decided to go back to a much more simple and reliable set up and just get back to really enjoying my white car. So with that being said, I think I might sell the red c5, but it is tempting to slap those heads and intake on that red c5 and just store the white car for a year or so. I think its safe to say that I am pretty much done working on the red one barring any unforeseen issues between now and when I sell the car.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this build thread as much as I did creating it.

Drifting
Decent numbers, reliability is always more satisfying than a hero number on the dyno.
Shame you can't keep them both but you might be able to if you do your own work - it's far less difficult than you think it is.

Wow! You’ve been super busy! Can’t believe I’ve missed all this action. I’m jealous all the decisions you’ve had to make! Hope the turbo car gets sorted but I have to say he red Vette is pretty sharp! You did a great job with her!

Turbo car goes in to the shop in September to get the kit removed, and the above go fast goodies installed. I decided I'm going to keep the fuel system installed in case I want to go back to forced induction, but other than that, the car is going to be gone through with a fine tooth comb to repair the first shop's mistakes. I really need to sit down one afternoon and start one of these build logs for the white car, I've had that car for almost 10 years now!
