Obviously at that weight, your stomach must rub up against the steering wheel.
That must be a fun drive.

Bob.
One thing to note, muscle is heavier than fat !!!!

1) I see plenty of young guys driving Corvettes.
2) I'm 26, just bought my first Vette. Maybe not fit, but I'm not fat. Car is a 2002 Coupe w/ 38k miles.

Hardly any young, fit guys own corvettes, why is that?
What is it about these Corvettes that young people are just not interested in them?

It seems, judging by the pics in that thread, that the Corvette has taken the place of the Buick, and Oldsmobile as being an older mans car.
When I was young, my dad had both Buicks, and Oldsmobiles, as did many older guys.
Just wondering why older, heavy set guys opt for a Corvette.

Bob.
Bob, you will someday be fat & old too & as far as why so few young people? $$$ - the fat old guys typically have the money to buy one of these cars & we didn't grow up lusting after some rice with a fart can for a muffler like the younger people do, just sayin ( whoops, I read your earlier post, you are old! )

I'm not fat, but really big boned. The stock C5Z seats are so wide, anybody can fit; it's just the headroom you have to worry about.

My 19 year old son just purchased his first car, a 99 FRC with 46,000 miles, he's 6'2" and 180.

I love how all overweight guys tend to say "I'm fat because my metabolism slowed down with age."

If you don't exercise and eat like crap, you can't blame it on metabolism slowing down. Just another excuse as to why "we can't help it, you just get fat when you get old"

Lift some weights, go for a walk, ride a bike, go for a hike. Very few people have an excuse for being fat. My coworker never exercises and eats fried chicken and french fries every day. Blames her weight on her thyroid condition. My dad is double her age, 10 inches taller than her, weighs the same, and could damn near leg press the back end of a corvette up into the air. I eat between 3500 and 4500 calories a day currently, and my dad (who granted rides his bike more than me, even though I lift weights) eats more than that.

People tell me that I won't be able to eat like I do (which is actually very clean eating, just a lot of food) when I get older. Then they see my dad eat.

I don't think a person's height has ever been a problem in a C5.
There is more than enough leg room for even the tallest of people.

The problem being, it is much harder to stuff an overweight carcass into a small cabin like the Corvette has, and look like one is really comfortable while doing so.
