My first rig--White Freightliner cabover. With a 318 Detroit--
no power steering, no air conditioning, and no power anything.
I ran coast to coast before the interstates were finished and I
was rarely home.
My last rig had everything including the kitchen sink and was
close to 1000 hp. Four million miles and I lived to tell about it.
It's just a way of life, most people don't know about. All they
want is everything they have and want.
Truckers still haul the freight 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
