Repair dull CORVETTE letters
Hi I looked on the how to section but did not see any posts on the black letters on the tail end on the C5. I have been compounding out some scratches and never noticed that the letters are raised or embossed on the tail cap. Mine look worn and dull like paint that is about buffed off. Can you remove those and service them to be replaced with fresh paint?

They are just glued on so I don't see a problem removing them and painting. They are also pretty cheap to buy new. They are an aftermarket item to begin with.

Yeah those. So new there were no color ones in there? Like the front license plate cover is just body color. OK thanks. Think I will take em out and see what it looks like.

If your aftermarket lettering looks bad, take a hair dryer, some fishing line if needed, and remove them. Then use some goo gone to remove any remaining adhesive, and install a new set. It will look great.
