I have been noticing n an anti-freeze leak in the middle or to the left of the middle underneath my car at the front of the engine. I can't seem to see where it is leaking at. I tried to run my hand underneath the water pump to see if anything was wet there it was dry. Yesterday went to drive it and the low coolant was showing. So put some anti-freeze in drove it. The temperature doesn't run hot or cold stays the same around 190-195 degrees. Anybody have any ideas what it is or something I am missing. Checked all hoses too.
Get an inspection mirror and look at the water pump weep hole while the engine is running. I know you said it was dry there but it could be leaking out the weep hole and blowing by while driving.
Sounds like water pump to me. I had the same issue. The location of the spot on the floor was the same. Surprisingly easy to replace yourself. Just be sure that the gasket on the drivers side of the pump, which you cannot see once you place the pump flush with the block, is still in place.
Don't ask me how I know to warn about this. Let's just say I became adept at removing and replacing the pump.
I guess I get to join the club. I've had a small leak/drip from the same location all last summer. Had to add a gallon of coolant late in the season , so it didn't stop by itself. Ordered a new pump this PM, hope it's not going to be a nightmare to replace it. Anywhere to get a decent write-up on the procedure (preferably with pictures) ?

This video is pretty good. It is a very easy fix. The first time it takes about 15-20 minutes to get it off. As I said in a previous post be sure that the drivers side gasket stays in place. Once you have the pump flush with the block you can no longer see it.
Be sure to get the proper torque specs for the bolts. Also be sure you have the proper thermostat and housing. I cannot remember the details of this issue. But the replacement pump might need the newer housing and thermostat. I am sure others here will chime in with some help as well.
