Default Need a real Corvette repair shop

I have 2001 coupe and need to find a shop or dealer in my area who really knows how to work on my Corvette. I live in Tega Cay, SC just south of Charlotte, NC. I have used Steve Moore and Burns dealers in my area they don't know or have forgotten how to work on a C5.
I need someone I can trust to fix my Corvette and perform general maintenance. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Find a Corvette Club in your area and ask some of them who they would suggest
A good C-5 man is hard to find.

Tony's Corvettes in Maryland is excellent (about 10 miles from DC), but that's probably 400 miles from you? Closest Corvette shop I know of to you.

Here's some suggestions (maybe you can start here. If they can't do it maybe they know someone who does)
Corvettes ECT
Corvettes Unlimited
Generations Corvette Club
Corvette Design
All of these are in and around Charlotte

Tick Performance and RPM Motorsports are supposed to be good in NC

Thank you for the list of local clubs. That is a good starting point.

Fwiw a good local mech that really knows his stuff, can work wonders.. remember it's just a car. I avoid the "Corvette Shops" I never found (or could afford) a great one.

I am on vette #11 over a 33 yr period. Been there done it probably.

I live in south Charlotte but am moving to Rock Hill next month. Was cruising around Saturday trying to learn my way around and came across a shop named Corvettes Unlimited. i stopped in and spoke to the owner, Wayne. He said they had been there 50 years and he had a yard full of vettes in all states of restoration. They do mechanic work, maybe to support their vette habit. He had a few that were restored and a couple of cars that weren't vettes. I've not needed a mechanic yet, so no idea about their quality but they clearly specialize in vettes.
