Default Fender Coves

How do you guys get the screens to stay in?
Mine keep falling down inside
I've tried several different things but eventually they fall down
Any suggestions?

On mine, I thoroughly cleaned the inside surfaces of the cove openings and then used 3M double sided tape to secure the screens to the opening. They have been on there for 6+ years and show no signs of coming off.

The key is getting the inside edges of the cove very clean.

I've used double sided carpet tape and it sticks good to the side of the car but the screen always lets go, usually after washing
it will last for a few days but has (so far) always falls to the bottom.
Its a pain to take the wheel and fender well off
haven't tried silicon so I'll try that this week (never crossed my mind)
thanks, I'll let you know how it works

Seems like a good thread to ask the question. Is there any purpose to the screens besides aesthetics??

Same here, but I also did a lot of bending of the screens to ensure they had more contour to the cove sides and not just a small point of contact.

The best ones are made by RaceMesh, they're stainless steel and made to order. Mine are the full set - black powder coated.

Mine came with my spears and screw into the back of the spears. Im sure a clear silicone will work in your situation

Mostly nice visual touch especially if you have screens on the front and rear. My screens up front catch big bugs ect. that could potential get sucked up by the vararam. I could imagine stuff falling down into that black hole of a fender cove

I put blue led's in the fender coves and for some reason the light looks much better coming through the screen than from an empty cove

RTV and a bungee cord around the mirror until dry.

That's a good one. I used automotive double stick tape for the temporary hold which let the RTV cure.
The lights look better because they reflect on the mesh.
Judicious contouring to improve the fit is very worthwhile.
