Busy week for the C5
After getting it back from the dealership after the brake down 4 hours away from home due to the "column lock" code even though the recall had been done some time ago. I immediately installed the LMC5 module to hopefully prevent more column lock codes.
Then I replaced the four air bladders in the driver seat and have full lumbar for the first time ever in either of my corvettes.
Should be doing the air bladders in the passenger seat tonight in preparation for the little cruiser to Mohegan Sun Saturday for the Barrett-Jackson auction.
Next on the list are the sway bars swap from C5 base to C6 Z51 with metal end links.

Replaced the shift cable... Went for the easy fix of the nylon grommet. Dumbass me pulled the cable too hard and snapped part of the housing... Got to know more of my car though!
While I had her on blocks I went ahead and added my front facing camera too.

Last weekend I got all the power and signal cables ran, amp mounted, cheap $12 flush reverse camera installed, chrome bulbs installed and DRL disabled without losing approach lighting. It's nice not being able to see my signal bulbs anymore, even at the cost of losing LED fronts. The reverse camera works nice, I wish it could be rotated another 10deg up so it doesn't catch part of the bumper, but can't be totally stealth without giving up something. Serves it purpose, I think due to car being so low, only way to get a straight back view would be for it to hang down an inch or a license plate mount, both of which I didn't want.

Drifting
I have owned the car for a year. The previous owner had a clutch and rear main replaced before I bought the car. Wen the clutch just recently failed I decided to tackle it myself. Let me tell you if I knew who did the job I would not be nice to say the least. To start the clutch failed because he never tightend the pressure plate bolts, left torque tube bolts loose and installed the bleeping rear main seal backwards when it was labeled. But now at least I will know it is done right when I am done

Photobucket is acting up badly, and I can't even access my pics...
It's this:
http://www.autogeek.net/cquartz-paint-sealant.html
There is bickering back and forth in the detailing section, but it really works for me in my world.
BTW: Something I did today (7/1), was to change oil to Amsoil instead of the Mobil1 that the car has always run on. I run Amsoil in everything else, and it's a product that I really believe in, so once I ran out of the Mobil1 that the PO gave to me when I bought the car about 5 years ago (I know, a lot of oil!), I made the switch.

Converting to switchback DRL
Over the past winter I redid my seats with the blood pressure cuffs replacing the crappy plastic lumbar bolsters and recondition my seats. Now I am ordering the DRL kit from radioflyer Innovations. I installed the fhyperflash harness after installing his LED tail lamps. Today I find out I have a master cylinder leak at the seam on the reservoir so now to buy a new master cylinder....stuff just doesn't last long...

2015 C5 of the Year Winner
It was only 100 degrees out in the garage at 10 AM, so I thought I'd lose some weight while sweating and painting the inside of my exhaust tips flat black again as the paint was rubbing off somehow. The wife said I was NUTS...
They look brand new again. Also installed my painted sway bar last weekend. Not perfect but you can't see it much anyway.
Think it's to low?
I actually had the back end on jack stands and this is how close it comes to the ground in the front.
