I spent a bit of time this past weekend painting my C6 Z06 front calipers, more complete pictures when the rears are done and Iíve put on the decals.

I've done the nearly impossible. With some careful screwing around I was able to completely remove all the AIR system components without removing the intake manifold. It is doable but it also does in fact suck really bad.

How did you manage to get that rear tube out? Left, down...?

The hardest part was getting that bolt busted lose that holds it onto the back of the head. It was tighter then I thought it would be. Once the pipe was freed from the drivers head I slid the whole pipe over to the passenger side and then cut off what I could with a 90* die grinder. Went back to the drivers side and grabbed the remaining piece mostly the check valve and pulled it back out the drivers side by the brake booster.

Cliff notes, I cut it in half to get it out.

The really pathetic part is, I have an LS6 intake to put on this car but I don't want to do that job right now. I took on the challenge mostly for fun to see if I could get that pipe out without lifting the intake.

Finished my header install today and got the mid pipe section completely built installed and leak checked. Turned out awesome. Can't wait to drive it in a day or two.

Started working on the Brake Motive kit. Getting ready to re install my freshly powder coated Alcoa Z wheels

Yes, I know they're black and black is not for everybody lol. But hey, it's right in my username.

Replace my 1999s alt bracket with an updated stronger one and power steering pulley with a C6 one...This is not a fun job, especially if you decide to put the crap plastic original pulley it came with back on...

Installed Radioflyer’s LED (White) fog lights today. What an improvement over stock! Not sure if I’ll need headlights at night now. Easy 10-15 minute job.

Not a bloody thing...High temp 28 today road crews working over time salting the roads needed or not. Got her in storage stop by once in awhile and say hello. If I’m lucky maybe March will be a kind month and rain enough to get the roads clear.

I put dryer sheets in both of my C5s. I also put Irish Spring soap in the C5s. I should have done this long ago when I put them in winter storage. I recently caught a mouse in a trap so I'm guessing more are around. I do NOT want them eating my wire, etc.
Anybody else have ideas to either repel or kill mice?

Parts to change out the Daytime run lights/signal light assemblies started drifting in. LED bulbs and Hyper harness for the dash. Other than that, had the day off as I got over a slight over dose of wine from yesterday.
