The 5th/6th gear extension shaft with its synchro assembly and new needle bearings under each gear (6th not on the shaft yet) going together.

The onion layers pictured are the syncros (and that little ring spacer on the end that can kill your whole build if left out) for the 6th gear installed afterwards.

Over the last couple of days I removed my CCW's and gave them a good wash, then Adams #1 and 2 followed by Rejex. Been meaning to do it for a while....i have 505's so the rears are fairly easy to get my hand through the spokes to clean the barrels when fitted to the car, but the fronts are nee on impossible without banging up my knuckles.

Here it is, mid-January, and there is no snow on the ground in Eastern MA. I've been driving her most days, and knew that I was picking up a little bit of road salt, so today I took her (gasp!) to a car wash so that the undercarriage could get sprayed clean. Didn't bother doing the wheels by hand because they are coming off soon - Cray Spiders are on order. If anyone is interested in some OEM polished aluminum wheels in B/B+ condition let me know.

You're absolutely right. . .and I'm one of the guilty parties! The weather has just been so crappy lately.

Decided to change up the look on the Z. These came in today. Removing the high polished CCW 505’s with the 305/275/30R19’s staggered for these black Flow One F4’ in 18 x 10.5, 295/35R18 on all four corners. Just looking for a change is all.

Took out the intake and cleaned the MAF and the throttle body. Checked and tightened all connections. Sure smoothed out the idle.

Got them from Ridies. I didn't trust myself to install them. Had a local upholstery shop do it.

They make a specific MAF spray sold online or some parts stores carry it. You spray the maf wires making sure not to break them with a strong stream of cleaner... The throttle body you can clean with brake cleaner and soft/med brush... I use old tooth brushes myself.

Went to the storage unit and refreshed the Lavender drier sheets checked the battery tender looked her over for any sign of vermin so far so good oh sat in her for a while wishing for spring. We may get 10 to 20 inches of snow this weekend really cold also single digits temps for the next few days.

Same here, checked the mouse traps, no mice. We are to get between 8-12" of snow this Friday/Saturday and then a high of 5 degrees on Sunday and a low of -8 degrees. Time to move South, I can't even imagine driving the C5 in either the snow or the cold. 528 rwhp and summer use tires only in -8 degree weather, that would be fun
