Dealt with the dreaded HVAC display and lights today. I guess I'm getting shaky in my climbing age, not as steady with the soldering iron as I used to be - or maybe just not enough caffeine.. LOL. I got everything re-soldered, and switched all of the bulbs to LED. Hopefully I wont have to mess with this again for a while!!

Day shot of it - cant wait to see what it looks like at night!!

Got a pair of tires for the fronts and got them mounted yesterday. Put my 1" adapters on the rear, cleaned and painted brakes and got one side mounted. Dipped the wheels for now to see what color scheme I want to end with. So far 100% improvement IMO.

Traded for a Caravaggio hood, for my C5Z. Looking forward to getting it fitted and painted.

Nice hood. If you decide your car looks to ugly with it let me know and I'll find a use for it.

I took mine out for a little drive today down to Millar Airport just outside Maricopa, Arizona to a car/aircraft show. It was a pretty cool show but out in the middle of nowhere it seemed. Pretty small FBO.

Going for a blue and black color scheme. Anything shiny aluminum is now black. Rear brake ducts are being hydrocarbon dipped. Looking for side skirts without the mudflaps.

All black hoses on the intake and black stainless steel hose clamps.

These are getting resprayed with a darker clear.

Vararam intake is also getting resprayed with a darker clear.

Clay bar and then three stage machine polish. Now my sore back and I will be researching a single stage polish for the machine so I can be done in a third of the time next year.

Drove mine over 200 miles yesterday. plan on more miles today. I installed my splashguards, and am really liking them. They help a lot. Planning on more seat time today. I wanna go fast!
My driveway gets a bit ugly during spring breakup.

The whole side of the car would be covered in mud if not for my splash guards. I wish they were slightly larger.

What splash guards did you go with? I'm thinking about some for my 99.

Finally fixed the HUD. Had to McGyver a bushing on one of the sides of the mirror using an o-ring, used a 1/2" 4-40 set screw on the other side to replace what was left of the factory pin. Nice not to have to lean up to see my HUD!!

100+ mile round trip cruise, by my lonesome, went to a car show by a lake. Pretty cool venue for a show. 240 or so cars there.

Pulled out my trusty nothing wrong with it at this time wally world battery in favor of a nice Duracell Platnum AGM battery. All told I think it was around 184 out the door with core turned in from Batteries Plus. Got it home and took a bunch of the stickers off of it lol.
