How do/did you like that pen? Doesn't look to bad from a distance. Got any up close pictures of the tires?
Got mine out and went to the local KMart for the gathering last night. Had about 8 Vettes and maybe a dozen or so miscellaneous cars. Kinda warm out so most peeps stay home. No pics though.

That actually looks better then I thought they would. Thanks for the pic. I may just get me some and try it on my truck first...

What I did this weekend.
1 week before our planned road trip the Front tire sensors and passenger side headlight motor crap out days apart.
So...
Took the 01 Vette to shop and had those items fixed as well as A/C service, Oil change, and Coolant flush.

Harmonic Balancer Wobble...
Had to change out my harmonic balancer on Memorial day. Took me almost 10 hrs including getting it up on stands and the 3 trips to Autozone to rent out a puller and installer. Tried to get a larger bolt and washer from Lowes but they didn't have the correct size and thread. Had to remove the steering rack to get clearance for the balancer to come off the shaft. Learned a lot about my car on Monday, that's for sure. Forgot to get a new serpentine belt and it was late so I put the old one back on. Now it's chirping from the edges getting slightly damaged from the pulley wobble so it looks like another trip to Autozone is in order.
Now my car is telling me Service Engine Soon so I asssume I have a code I'll have to check tomorrow. Hope you all had a better day than I did.

but ive had those "this shouldnt take more than a day" weekends. but look at the bright side: you're qualified to do about anything to it now if that was your first time. almost a shame you didnt swap cams. that's 99% of the labor for a cam swap.

check the code to make sure you didnt leave something easy disconnected, or that the wheel rotated while disconnected. the former is nothing.. the latter is kind of a pain.

LOL You're going to give people heart attacks saying stuff like that. Mine doesn't melt in the rain either Although detailing it the next day takes a while.
I've been away from my C5 recently so all I've been able to do is order interior bits. I'm switching over my black / light oak interior to all black with blue highlights. I almost have everything I need, including new seat covers from Vette Essentials I'm definitely looking forward to finally getting this project completed.

I just did the seat rock fix on my 01. I been studying the directions for a couple weeks and had some free time tonight and did both seats. And it was a complete success. Thanks to this forum for all the help.

Burning Brakes
I changed out the exhaust from a Borla twin pipe cat back to a Z06 Titanium cat back. My FRC has a Texas Speed LS1, 6speed and SLP long tube headers and H-Pipe. It originally had a SLP Loudmouth cat back on it but that was ridiculously loud. Swapped it for the Borla on my son's Z06 but I couldn't take the drone anymore. I'm so happy with the Z06 exhaust sound that I may drive the C5 for fun, not just for track days!
I also put my street tires back on the car and changed out the front race brake pads. Had to do the job the old fashioned way with a jack since my lift saw fit to blow a hydraulic line and shower me with hydraulic fluid...

Melting Slicks
Tonight i finished installing my new LED tail lights. I also had to install a new separate electronic flasher.
They are not the halo mod type but I like them and got a good price on them. Everything is working as it should and I do like the new look.

Not sure if you have unlimited $$$, but I watched the used market and got an older Hall intake in excellent condition for a good price. I also have no idea how many hp it added, but I do have more power.
