My car is 20 years old, it has alittle over 100,000 miles.. Ive done 75 miles each way to Atlantic city Casinos many times.. Ive been on I 95 hundreds of times. I do not have one chip on my car. I dont follow anyone too closely, there is a certain amount of luck... and a lot of Zaino. I have no other reason for this and yet many people have tons of chips on their car.. Its either their roads, their driving practices, or dried up paint that chips from lack of lubricity.. IM not bragging here.. I'm lucky for sure,, I dont have one chip on my rear brake ducts... Everyone knows this is a recent photo of brake ducts that have been on my car for 15 years. ( Note the wide body quarters. ) those rotors are 18 years old and have at least 80,000 miles on them

Went through three cans of brake cleaner under the engine bay and need to buy stock in the stuff. Still have a lot to clean from the mess of a leaking scavenge pump line. Ugh.

I uploaded the latest tune now that the headers are in. Thanks to Chuck CoW once again, I'm back on the road running as it should.
Only had a short (20 miles) ride with the updated tune. This weekend is supposed to be nice (finally) and Sunday there's a cars and coffee that I plan on going to.... route to get there has a few stretches of road where I should be able to get into a little

Cleaned it....then drove it to get some gas, then drove it some more.
Got it home and put the cover on it for a few more weeks. Wife is having surgery so not sure how soon I'll be able to play with it again.

I let my son drive it. He's got his learners permit and been driving his Jeep, my Ram and the wife's 328i. He's been asking for a little while if he could drive the vette. He did great and was super excited. This by far was the BEST for me so far with this car.

No pictures but I did the same thing I taught my middle daughter to drive a manual in my car. Lots of fun for both of us(mostly her). Next is my youngest daughter. Good to let the kids drive and enjoy them as well.

The same thing I do every single day: I drove it.
I also got really lucky on FB marketplace and got a pair of factory headlights for $200. Need to get them painted to match and then I can get rid of the much-maligned frogeyes.
264,585 miles and counting.

I put in a new AC Delco 145 watt alternator because the old one was 16 years old with almost 150,000 miles and the car left me and my wife stranded the other week when the car decided that its low voltage levels should cut power to the oil pressure sensor which made the PCM think that I had no oil pressure. After a flatbed tow (free, thanks AAA!!!) I put a new battery in it, all was well again. Still, I think the alternator needed to be changed. I also spot-cleaned the engine bay and it looks decent. Although the cowl looks bad with that seal broken at the passenger side wiper blade near the windshield, so I might change that next.
