What did you do to your C5 today?

So far today, I put another application of 303 Fabric Guard on my vert top. Before the first coat, the top would just soak up water badly. After the first coat cured, I checked it with a couple of bottle caps full of water and !!WOW!! it just made huge water puddles and on the edges water just rolled off. I know there are a lot of products that everyone has opinions on, but I'm really impressed with the 303 Fabric Guard for the fabric tops. As bad as it originally was, I decided to apply another coat for good measure. It's drying and curing now. I originally thought I might need a blackening product, but the top is really black now and that's not needed. I do plan on applying a coat or two of UV resistant spray after this last coat cures.
After lunch I'll begin my install of the Corvette Mods grill package - Black Grills all the way around.I think before doing the fog light area, I will drill some 3/4" holes in the backside for extra air to the air filter.

Rinsed off and dried. Applied new decals over old ones on center caps. Two winters in the desert faded them out. Soon to hit 100k miles, she still turns heads.

Started on the Muffler Delete
Got one side done, one to go (a lot of work but fun)
Did mine a little different...
added flanges so if I don't like it I can blank it off
or when I go to get it inspected I can blank it off and avoid any hassles
I'm going to experiment with different blanks also just to see if it will change the tone
Probably a waste of time but something to do on a rainy day
Made a spacer so when I go to install another blank it will just drop in instead of a lot of prying

Thx! I'm having as much fun playing with it as driving it! I want to do some tasteful silver and red graphics on the hood but not sure what it will be yet. Also want to tint windows and black out (wrap) the top and halo. Much left to do!

Supposed to snow here tonight/tomorrow (so ready for spring)
Been doing little things to the car getting it ready for better weather
figure this is the time to do all that stuff so when better weather finally gets here all I'll have to do is RIDE

Well, I did Check the 1st Aid kit I put in it. Then, walk by it this early afternoon to get the Battery charger off my Suzuki 1250s Bandit and went for a 105 mile ride about the countryside.

Yesterday I walked past it in the garage and seeing all the dust wondered why I hadn't invested in a car cover yet.
Today I started it up for the first time since Dec (?) and moved it out of the garage to clean the garage for spring. Getting close to daily driver again. Probably have it out this week.

I did the muffler bypass thing. Did it myself without removing the exhaust and using a dremmel tool to cut rectangular "windows" into the pipes. Installed a 1" X 1" piece of aluminum tubing. The install went well but I cant notice much difference in sound. Lots of work for little (if any) gain. Bummer.
