A battery den cover really does dress up that area of the engine bay.

Please expand. Where did you get the black cover, and was it prefinished, or did you fabricate it?

I also got mine through Corvette Central and it fits nice no fab needed. However, the underside is smooth and a nice flat black but the topside is textured so it's not that same smooth look. It almost looks like it has specs of gray/white so I'll likely paint it just to calm down my ocd haha.

this looks awesome, how would I be able to incorporate a battery tender in this without having to remove it and install it after the car sits? would the charging battery gases be restricted with a cover on it?

As I recall it was RPI, but not seeing it on their site? I know I got the fender covers from them.

you could do the quick-connect (flat-2 pin connector) -- leaving the connector outside the cover...

or just pop the cover and rest on the windshield. it takes about 1 second to get out, and 2 or 3 to put back in. I've got the same cover...

the cover posted by the OP has vent holes in it, and is no where close to air tight.

Got mine from Mid-America several years ago...I think it really helps tidy up the engine compartment.
