How to tell if your car is ACTUALLY fast...
So I'm driving around town yesterday, and I'm stopped at a long light behind a train, and a dude in a G37 sedan that is stanced out yells out to me that he thinks the stance on my car looks really off because I have more wheel gap in the rear than the front, and it just ruins it for him...
I had time to explain to him that I had to raise my rear up over an inch above the front, because when I hit the loud pedal, the thing squats so hard that the shocks bottom out, and it gets a little dicey. To which he proclaimed that I was full of ****.
Man, I didn't realize G37's were sooooo SLOW I smashed him by almost 2 cars through the light, and it only took me 7 seconds from a 60 roll to go from a whole length behind, to a whole length ahead giving him the handicap needless to say, he dove off the freeway asap after that.

Sweet! Nice to hear a C5 putting a G37 in its place. My luck if I did that, a cop would be sitting on a side street and see us go blazing by.

They are nothing to write home about, however, given the stats, I'm not suprised someones that's driven 80's Hondas' their whole life, can feel that this car has a lot of power.
The sedans are 3882lbs, and have a 330hp V6 outta the 370z, but they have a fancy 7-speed auto, and some models are AWD, which can make the coupes pretty snappy at 3500lbs...but not the sedan
I'm almost 1000 lbs lighter than him, and have more than his crank HP at the wheel, so I knew I had this one in the bag. I normally wouldn't give him the time of day....but damn, this dude was literally ASKING for it plus he had like $6k wheels, and what looked like the gucciest titanium exhaust I'd ever seen on a 4-door.
He needed to be knocked down a peg er' two.
If you're a rude *** hole, AND you can't even back it up, then you are just a stupid douchebag.

It was a facelift model, so had to be the one currently in production. A G37 coupe, with the track pack, or the IPM version (Infiniti performance model) with basic bolt ons, and a tune, will walk a base '01 coupe. But I don't think he had that, and I most certainly have more than that
However, my '07 BMW 328i coupe is door-door with those racier models of the G37 coupes, and it is significantly slower than the C5.
Thanks I spents months adjusting the height, waiting for it to jounce, corner balancing, and I think I have it really dialed in for a car that gets driven real hard. I can go lower, but it's not a driver anymore, it's a show car, and that ain't me

G37 sedans are sweet daily drivers. I am currently shopping for an AWD G37X to replace my current daily.

I have been driving everyday for 50 years and never had someone criticize my car at a red light! Sounds like someone need to get a life.
