Very nice. Is it an OEM GM replacement or aftermarket?

That looks perfect and professionally done! What is a vert like with the top up? Just a little louder than standard coupe or is there quite a bit of difference? I have never owned one and would love to put one in the garage one day.

Road noise with the top up is louder than a coupe, but it becomes white noise and you don't really notice it. Top stays down most of the time.

Looks great! I'm thinking winter project this year. I like the black top on Red.
Good choice not really a DYI project unless you know what your doing IMHO.

Agree. I looked into doing it myself ... BUT ... there are just some projects that are worth the money to get it done right.

It's getting old reading about these great quality and reasonably priced installers 1,000 miles away. But when I factor in the time and cost to drive out that far, it eats quite a bit into the savings, and then I'm still stuck on the warranty. Sucks.
Imho, we need to start a listing of CF forum 'Recommended Installers' that aren't asking brain surgeon rates.

Jeez, I've been trying to get quotes around the Chicago area with these 'recommended installers', and I'm getting quotes as high as $1,800. I even had one of them say, if I wanted to buy the top itself online, he would only give a 1 year warranty.

I know your struggles. Cost can vary within my state. Got a guy in Lafayette area (about an hour drive) who specializes in Vette and Camaros and has very good prices ... here in BR the same services are a tad higher.

Sorry Josh I don't know of any. I tried a few brushes before but nothing really seems to clean it and certainly didn't do anything for the spots that had become worn from the support frame. I just saved my pennies and decided to replace it. I mean it's money well spent.

The most outrageous quote came from the shop local recommended by the CF forum sponsoring Chevy dealer. Most of the others were in the $1,500 to $2,000 range, but some clearly didn't seem very experienced with Vettes. Still shopping.
