I do not care for the look of it , seems out of place, but its your ride...
For me its the Caravaggio or nothing, just my opinion.

I think it looks terrible...to stop your embarrassment, you can send it to me.
Seriously though, I've been looking at one of these in matte for my silver z and I think you've just sold me on this. Maybe lower the car some and I bet it would look more aggressive. My 2 cents.

yuk. looks straight outta jc whitney catalog clearance section.
z lines are so clean stock, and your car is really nice, why mess with it?
sorry, you asked for opinions.
my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it though, and if you like it, well, that's all that matters.

Even though it's on a 'ZR1', I don't like it on the C6, even less for a C5. Kind of 'bland', certainly not swoopy. It's your car...yada, yada, yada, amen.

The C5 has entered it's 20th year. It's as outdated as any aftermarket dress-up item. Personally, I have, and love my old ACI spoiler.

Not my taste, but if you like it, all good.
As for the term haters... I can't imagine hating anything unless it directly affects me. If I bought my car with that mounted, maybe I'd hate it then (and then only if it was a pain to remove).
Hate as far as vehicles? Anything too loud (motorcycles where one can't afford mufflers), smelly (diesel vehicles)... otherwise to each their own.

When I purchased my Z a couple of months ago came with one on it. I was not too sure about it when I first purchased, but have to admit that it is growing on me. The main reason it is growing on me is the PO put holes in the bumper cover to bolt it down. Needless to say it will be staying on my car for a while. (Jake Skull B-Day Gift from my 8YO son last week so that too is staying a while)

Thanks guys for the comments...I like it. I did not want to use the body color, I wanted the spoiler to match the color of the side vents and trim. I did not bolt it on..its taped on (3M).

OP I would keep it. Looks good IMO and adds a little extra to a clean Z. I think it would look better painted. Reason I am not crazy about mine is the PO bolted it down because he "did not trust the tape".

He should have. I've had mine taped on for years. And it was really flimsy before taping it down. I did use the prep they advised, but be careful, it will ruin your paint.

Well I was so impressed by the look that I got one second hand and am going to try a faux carbon fiber paint job on it this weekend. If it doesn't work out, it's gonna be satin like yours. Test fits of it in black on a silver z with the "ceta" mod on the bumper and blacked out tail lights look killer.
