Does anyone actually have them in stock or is it simply place your order with any vendor and wait?

Just a note, but I ordered the XSPower headers and catted Xpipe from Jon (Superman) and got them in less than a week. He has been absolutely terrific with support via email as well. I will likely be doing a write up once install is finished on Saturday!

I feel your pain. I ordered wheels from a vendor here on March 7 and was told 5-6 weeks. I called at the end of week 6 which was in April and was now told it would be end of May. I bet I'll be calling again the first week of June. My enthusiasm for the wheels is now disappointment.
Sigh.

Foggy, it would be nice to know upfront! Communication is the key to great customer service, and it's not just the auto parts world but online vendors as a whole for the most part.

These Kooks on ebay are available in 4 days according to the ad

I have coated Melrose headers that I got in 4 days when I bought direct from them a few years ago.

I ordered a set from Josh on here and got them in two days. Super great service!
Yet on another order I'm in a similar situation with an Akra exhaust system. Took them a week just to ship it... only to find out that they actually were selling something for one of their partners. So they did not even have the exhaust. It arrived damaged and have been waiting 14 days now for them to make it right. Trying to be a nice guy but next week I'll just dispute the charge with my CC company and let them worry about getting it back...
you never know I thought this vendor was a stand up guy, lets see what happens on Monday... I say use large established vendors and those that dont depend on this site for all their business.

Bet it starts with a M ends in a D and is speedy.
I don't care if I get a suspension. Just ordered a new ZL1 and am hanging out there more now lol.
Keeping my Z06 though for sure!!
Hope you guys get your stuff soon.
I manage a retail maintenance and repair shop and we deal with incorrect or delayed parts delivery every freaking day!

I ordered a set of kooks long tubes and catted xpipe with a corsa xtreme axle back from custom corvette accessories on May 1st. I had the corsa within a week, and received all the kooks stuff on the 18th.
Everytime the order status was updated I got an email from cca. Was very pleased with them and would recommend to anyone looking to order.
I was going to order from a different vendor but heard a member had been waiting months for their headers. So picked CCA instead since I was told upfront the kooks would take about 10 business days to manufacture and then ship.
