Kooks headers shipment/delivery still waiting!
Wow, does it really take this long? Ordered Kooks headers, Cats, and X-pipe on 3/29/17 from a popular forum vendor. No shipment update or anything. Here it is 5/16/17 and the order is still processing! Called customer service and was told 3-4 more weeks for delivery. I will do more Vendor research and view comments before buying online again! Now my Dyno and installation dates must be cancelled due to delayed delivery and shipment! Do yourselves a favor and ask customers before shopping online for parts. I made the mistake of not doing so.
Just giving you heads-up, to those of you who haven't experience this!

I had a similar issue. I waited 6 weeks and a day. I was told that it was due to ordering pre '01 emission headers. Then to make things worse the coater was backed up. I wasn't in a hurry and the great price made the wait worthwhile. And the vendor told me upfront that it would be 4-6 weeks. But you have already waited 6 weeks and 4 days and still have another 3-4 weeks to go. I can tell you that there is need to worry about the vendor.

Yeah the price is great, but the customer satisfaction is ridiculous! I sure would like to get these things installed before the summer is over!!

If you are getting no updates from the vendor, I have a good guess which one it is. Probably the same one I bought my Kooks headers from.......

I don't have headers but I know something about customer service.
Get your money back and do business with a vendor that realizes its about the customer and not about the vendor.
Getting your money back b/c of bad service sends a powerful message.

It happened to me also but not a problem as they aren't getting done until next month. Probably same vendor but no biggie.

Thanks runner140 for that advice. I will give them until their last time frame has expired. Then I will seek a resolution to this unprofessional situation!

I feel your pain. I ordered wheels from a vendor here on March 7 and was told 5-6 weeks. I called at the end of week 6 which was in April and was now told it would be end of May. I bet I'll be calling again the first week of June. My enthusiasm for the wheels is now disappointment.
Sigh.

I don't think this is applicable to this forum but I am a member of other car forums that will delete any post (along with banning the member) that names a vendor that gives bad service. In my unimportant opinion I think these forums, in part, are exactly where that information should be posted. We are here to help each other out in the journey to car satisfaction yet the almighty support dollar from vendors on those other forums overrides honest and open dialogue on the quality of parts and services. Of course you can shower a vendor with praise but never with criticism. So far I have had great dealings with the vendors on CF but on the other forums I cant trust what I read and there is no way to find out in PMs unless you can remember what every member has purchased so you know who to contact. I guess we roll the dice and take our chances.

Would it be possible to identify who this vendor is cause I WILL NOT be ordering my headers from them. That kind of service is not serving the customer and the customer is what it is all about. The members of this forum are pretty good about helping each other out and part of that should be rooting out **** poor vendors. Just my .02.

I've already served one 30 day suspension for less than that. I'll leave it to someone else to drop a dime.......
