Who's replaced their ugly stockers?

Replaced my 98's a few years ago with clear/amber housings. Used Switchback LED's in the DRL/Turn signal socket and LED in the amber corner light.

JWM's has a post listed below with a complete package of bulbs and housings for a good price, includes the hyperflash harness. I'd recommend checking your states DMV regulations on the type of corner lights. I needed the amber lens to avoid getting hassled on the yearly inspection.

I am wondering how the smoked ones look. I have a black FRC and I like that deathly punisher batman dark blacked out look haha...

Got any pics of it blinking or on with the smoked look? Where did you get yours?



What about the rear corners the red is meh. Black looks so much nicer.

Full black out with leds and switchbacks

Leds & switchbacks from Radioflyer Innovations. Beautiful bulbs instead of the shitty plastic ones. I also have their led harness which eliminates you having to put resistors in the wires. Just a short plug in process under the dash.

What rear fender flares are those?

I went with the black amber, not the super cheap Ebay ones with the wavy lens, but the more expensive ones with the true clear lens. I paired those with Morimoto Switchbacks and an Amazon amber 194 LED. The 194 LED was so bright I put in a PWM dimmer from Diode Dynamics, and wired it such that it is dim with the running lights and bright with the turn signal. I'll get pictures and maybe a video later.

I personally prefer a clear lens with our HP24 switchbacks. We use high quality, tightly binned LEDs, which are a true 6K, so you won't have that cheap purple hue.

Or you could go with single color amber if you want an OEM+ look.

Holy crap! They are out of business? I had heard some things over the years. Bought the standard 2 inch flares and my wheels weren't tucked enough cuz the offset came a little off. So I ordered 3 1/4 inch flared with antenna and side marker delete. Man that's horrible news that things really were that messed up.

I do appreciate the kind words though, sounds like it could have gone the other way?!
