The wet kind...........
You have to use the chemical stuff - H2O it's called. It will do the job - and it's really wet.

I prefer dihydrogen monoxide. As the name sounds, it's highly caustic, so keep it off your skin, but it does an excellent job of cleaning the paint due to its lubricity and solvent nature.

The Master Blaster works great, no water spots. I only use it on the Vette though and dry my other cars with towels. Well worth the initial steep investment.

In all seriousness, on black cars I've owned previously, I washed them with normal tap water and made sure to keep them wet. Then I'd rinse with a bucket of RO/DI water that I keep on hand for my salt water reef aquarium. 0ppm water doesn't spot!
Not sure I'd recommend heavy water.....it didn't work out too good for Col. Klink, lol:

if you get it wet, it multiplies into more corvettes. Just don't give it fuel after midnight, then it turns into a Prius.

I just buy my Distilled Water from the grocery store in the one gallon jugs, so no doubt it's not the purest stuff in the world. However, I absolutely will see very minor spots on the windows and chrome rims if I don't blow most of it off and hand dry. Frankly I wish I could just rinse it with the DW and walk away, but it doesn't quite work that way. I'm sure its a combination of the DW not being 100% pure AND no doubt, the water trapping every spec of dust floating around in the air. So, yeah, if I don't dry it, it'll show for sure.

You can also buy all kinds of rechargeable softening filters from RV supply stores. I had one for years that would filter and soften 100 gallons before it needed recharging, which was as simple as adding household salt to the top of the filter and backwashing for several minutes. They simply connect between the supply hose and your washing hose. Not very expensive and will last for many years.

MR Clean (used to) have an attachment for the hose - replaced your standard sprayer nozzle (or thumb). had a built in reservoir for soap and an integrated water filter.

Mr Clean AutoDry Car Wash System.

Either Voss or Fiji. But the real question is, what filtration system do you use to wash yourself? I'm going to assume it's well water. If it's good enough for you, why not the car?

An interesting subject. I never considered the type of water I use to wash a car. I guess the city water is the ticket here. Captain obvious here. I never wash in the Direct sun light.
