Default Took the advice and did the LMC5

i completed it without the brown wire mod and sure enough, I went from a trouble free vette to a pull key out message.

at that point I said F it and just do it like one of the guys here said ( 8vette7) who has been dead on with everything so far.

after the brown wire mod, another 10 minutes, this is complete.

thanks to all

Glad you got it all solved - now enjoy the car without worry about the column lock issue.

Same thing here, did the the brown wire and all has been good.
Compliance said the pull key issue was with the timing. Extremely helpful company.

I installed my LMC5 4 years ago without the brown wire mod with no issues to date.

Good job getting things worked out.

Good stuff right there! Now you can worry less about it leaving you stranded and more about how much power you wanna squeeze out of her
