How many of you have a RaceDeck floor in your garage??
We are moving shortly and the new house garage floor isn't in the best shape. It does however have a faucet and a drain.
My first thought is to go epoxy but I wonder if the floor could support it. (Closing 6-16 so I can't get anyone in yet.)
I always wondered how those RaceDeck floors deal with water/snow? Also, what about floor jacks and jack stands? I see plenty of "showroom" perfect garage floor pics but never with tools!
Just curious to see any real world comments by owners.
Thanks!

Had Racedeck for ten years. Would never do it again. Jack stands need a piece of plywood under them to keep from marking the floor on a permanent basis. Need a piece of plywood under a wheeled floor jack to permit the jack to roll while lifting as designed. Wheels will dent into the floor under load and the jack will be stationary. Any viscous fluid that hits a seam between the tiles will not clean up and will "wick" dirt and dust, making the floor look dirty.
If all you do is park on it go for it. Of you do any "work" on it go for epoxy.

My Brother installed grey RaceDeck and the hot tires stained it. He brought one stained tile to me and we tried everything to remove that stain and found nothing that worked.

i have epoxy and would not choose it again . professionally done it was $6.50 a square FOOT and it has scarred in a couple places , probably from a stone in a tire tread . i also wish it had two coats of clear on it . i would try regular floor tiles if i were to do it again . . peace

I have had Race Deck down for ten years and love it. I live in New Jersey, so we get four seasons of weather on it.
I have a four post storage lift installed and drilled straight thru the Race Deck when installing it. No issues
Sure when I use my jack stands or floor jack I also use plywood underneath of them, but I would do that if I had an epoxy floor to protect that surface too. I went with black, red and white tiles. I clean them twice a year with a deck brush and Simple Green and they still look new once cleaned.

I tried to go with epoxy Baer products from Home Depot. Did everything by directions to apply it to my new concrete in my garage. It looked really good at first but after driving on it for sometime the hot tires started peeling up the epoxy paint. I also have to use a special epoxy paint because a lot of products will not work on my concrete due to having radiant heat in my concrete. I have checked on another product they said it would work but I would have to remove all my old epoxy. I'm not going thru that.

I have Racedeck and am very happy with it. I'll be honest that I don't do heavy mechanical work in my garage. But using my floor jack to swap out wheels has never been an issue or left any marks in the floor. One tip though is to avoid white tiles. I had them in my old condo 1-car garage (black and white checker pattern) and the white tiles would never come clean after winter. With darker tiles like I have now, cleaning it up in the spring with a brush and some simple green is cake. Come out like new.

I have light gray Racedeck as stated above I use a liner under my jacks & jack stands I have no issue with that, but the tire marks from my Nitto Invo's are annoying, still trying different products to keep them clean.
I also ordered extra tiles so if I damage one I just replace it.

I bought the Costco version of racedeck, motofloor. I ended up returning it because it wasn't what I expected it to be and wasn't going to transition from the driveway to the garage floor very well, even with the edging/finishing kit I bought for it.
