Vettes-4-Vets 2017, my take along with Pics...
Well another Vettes-4-Vets is in the books. This was my 7th time going and by far the best one so far. The event organizers, Hendricks Chevrolet in Hoover Alabama and Talladega Speedways staff made the event run smooth and almost trouble free. Other then a few people that had to be schooled about their on track activities everything went very well. I'm also pretty sure all the Corvette Forum members volunteered to carry a disabled Vet or someone related to a disabled Vet during one of their on track sessions. I actually carried a active duty Soldier and the wife of a disabled Vet and both had a blast which made it all worth while for me.
I also want to thank all the Corvette Forum members who entered because without y'all this event just wouldn't have been the same. Jeff Aldrich, Mike Sheafor, Keith Hooper, Charles Kwas and Vince,Mark Wolfe, Clint Eastham, Tom Alexander, Barry Malan, Cal Hodneet, Carl Berthold and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone Thanks!!! Gotta thank Charlie for hanging out of 2 different cars to get our rolling shots and for our 1st time attempting this I think we are on the right road to maybe learning how to do this... Enjoy the pics...
Fun getting to the track..
All the others....

Excellent pics and thanks for all you and the other Vette owners did for the veterans. I'm sure they thoroughly enjoyed the rides.
