Scottsdale Pavilions - Corvette Day
The first Saturday of the month is designated Corvette Day at the Scottsdale Pavilions. So some of us from the Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts (ACE) with no brain cells decided to venture out and see what's a happenin'. I can tell you one thing for sure, I will never do this again this time of year. Saying it was hot is an understatement. I think it got to 107 today. We were there about 2 pm and left at 4 pm and I didn't go back in the evening to see who all else showed up. Here's a little video of some that were there when we were.
(I see I misspelled Pavilions in the video but you get the idea.)

video but I can understand not wanting to be out there very long when it is 107* outside.

Thanks for braving the heat and sharing. With no shade, that had to be miserable!
Some very nice vettes there!
ive been living vicariously through your car show videos and slide shows for the last few months as I added a supercharger and some other mods, and now as I'm working mega overtime to pay myself back.
if it makes you feel any better, I was working a 12 hour shift while you were suffering out there

Yeah it was pretty miserable to say the least. That's why I didn't stay long and left at 4. More people were out in the evening from what I hear. Thanks for all the comments. Working a 12 hour shift is also miserable on a weekend. I worked the night before so it was a long day for me as well. The dew point was at 40 degrees so it's definitely not a dry heat here anymore. Can't wait to retire and leave this place during the summer months but that's another 5 to 7 years. Almost sounds like a prison sentence....5 to 7...

Nice of you to post and create the video, it's like being there with the gang.

Mark-
A couple of buddies and I talked about going over there- fortunately someone observed that it was going to be warm and that the more logical alternative was to hop in the pool and drink beer.
Sorry to have missed you !

I was thinking that exact thing about a half hour into being there. Just leave now, go home and jump in the pool and life would have been fine. But I didn't listen to myself.
