No, I knew we talked about it but I couldn't remember if the high rise one you have is the one on the car. That's why I said you really don't need that hood and it should be in the hands of an owner that put under it what it rightfully should have under it.

Again...I got it because it really looked cool to me and it was a heat extractor and it was light weight...and I had no intentions of putting a Maggie or anything else to boost power....I'm all about looks, not speed...

all i can say is wow! that hood really changes the look of your Vette, its hot! love it of course it doesn't hurt I'm also driving a torch red C5 vert, so i'm just a touch biased.

I'm with you, I added a L88 hood to my 72 Vette because of the way it looked, not because I had to because of engine upgrades. If these hoods were still being produced at a reasonable price, I would put one on my 2000, again, because I think it looks fantastic as it does on your car!

...why not call him and see what is going on...he is a good guy and will talk directly with you and answer all of your questions...
