I was hoping so...he had a huge waiting list but since the process is slow because of being hand made and the cost factor...everyone wants one cheap and that is not possible for him or anyone on earth to do and make a decent profit...he is still trying to find someone to make them using the original process...Marc is really trying his best and he may just be able to do it if people are willing to pay a fair price and that will not be the same price as the original MCM hood sold for years ago...Cudos to Mark at Vettenuts for still trying to get it done... my friend...

Unfortunately, there are times when members forget that this is an Internet forum and issues between members can get out of hand. This includes members turning to the forum to air a personal offline/on-line problem which results in sides being drawn by participating members.

In these situations, it is the forum's role to expeditiously end any conflict for the good of the forum and its membership. The forum's goal is not only to remain family, work, and corporate server safe, it also will not serve as a battleground where offline/on-line personal matters and drama are permitted to be played out in front of other members.

Any thread(s) that contain open bickering, name calling, subtle derogatory messages, "digs," personal attacks, or anything negative in nature will be closed/edited or deleted, and any participating members who post in violation of this rule, will jeopardize their posting privileges.

If any member is being harassed on-line in a thread or privately via PM, they should avoid a confrontation with the offending member and immediately report the problem to a section Moderator via PM, or by clicking on the "report post," icon under their user name.

The Moderator will evaluate the issue and take appropriate action to rectify the situation.
Serious question here... what if the offending poster is a personal friend of the section moderator? Is there (for lack of a better way to phrase it) a higher level moderator that the situation can be addressed with? I'm not usually one to complain to others about people who are bullies, but sometimes I feel like it's the only way to get someone to stop acting like a rude punk.

As a moderator on other boards (not sure exact procedure here) when a post is reported, all mods in that section, and possibly all forum mods depending on the report type are notified and there is typically a moderator only forum area for discussion.

I’m sure being a moderator is not fun at times, I think this section is being moderated pretty well. That being said not everyone is going to agree with the results. I had a post vanish here with no explanation (probably the best way to do it) but it made me think I was having false memories
I was definitely taking a shot but thought it was mild enough to stay....I was wrong.

My advice....is to take it off this forum. You have concerns or criticism:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...questions.html

As said previously, when a report button is pushed, multiple mods get the notifications.

Someone offered me $4,000 for my carbon fiber beauty and I said no thank you Nothing comes close.

Once upon a time I owned two MCM hoods as well. I had a regular one that I had painted and I loved it, and in 2011 I came across a brand new never installed CF one, probably the last brand new never installed MCM hood in existence (even at that time). I snapped it up immediately, and like a fool I sold my other MCM hood.

I wish these were available again. It's the ONE hood I'd consider for my car.
