I'm still looking for....
....someone to make a simple piece of cloth to throw over the opening when you have the targa top off when you're just running into picking something up in public.
What I use now in my garage, is an old navy blue queen size bedspread. It takes about 3 seconds to put it on or take off. It would look tacky in public.
Any suggestions that would be as quick? Maybe I should just buy a nice corvette quilted blanket? They must make them.
I'm aware of the other products you wrap around the mirrors and put under the trunk corners but it takes too long to put on. And for multiple trips,
The first two places I went to today, I kept the targa on and the third place today I parked under a tree, for 5 minutes. Got to be something out there!

I thought I saw a temporary targa top cover a while back that was advertised to be a quick solution to covering the car when you don't want to re-install the targa top. Don't remember the vendor, but I'd suggest looking at some of the major aftermarket vendors like Mid-America, Ecklers, West Coast Corvettes, Zip, Corvette Central, etc.

Thanks
I've seen these before and they are a close. They look like they fold into sections. But still cumbersome and expensive.
But the more I think about it, the material of the targa cover for storage for your trunk is exactly what would work. Any way to find out who is the true manufacturer of the black cover is? It's the cover with the holes to fit into the plastic "cups".
I'd even think about buying the material and getting the edges sewn at the shoe maker. Any suggestion on where to go to buy or even have the fabric made?

yeah that would be pretty rediculous, watching someone put a blanket over their top at Home Depot
What about a set of seat covers out of cloth or even cheapskins if youre worried about a hot seat?

1) I don't think I'd want to do this because any dirt that is on the halo now will get dragged and cause small scratches.
2) I wouldn't want anything nice, because it's just going to get stolen by some POS.
3) IF my car was 1000% clean, and I needed something for this, I'd likely just buy something from http://www.fattowels.com/beach-pool/ that fit appropriately and had enough material that would hold it in place on the outboard flaps that overhang the windows.

Why not just make your own? Buy some snap buttons on ebay, and the fabric you want, then cut to size.
