What Size Front Tires, I f-ed Up
Folks of CF,
I went off and went against everything you all do and recommend, just because I liked the way something looked and its bitten me on the ***. I wanted meaty tires I dont like the band aide looks of 265/30's and and yikes 25's so I went with 265/40/18's. while I like the look, theyre definitely way too big and rubbing.
I have 285/35/19's on the rear, so what should I get for the front?

I ran 245/40/18s on mine up front. You can pick different widths, just make sure to pay attention to the overall diameter of the tire to make sure it'll work.

Stock sizes on my ol' 98 coupe was 245/45/17 fronts (25.6" tall) and 275/40/18 rears (26.5" tall). Well after years of modding and now with 650rwhp, I needed something on the back that would hook. Enter 28" tall 325/45/17 rears M&H Racemaster (with real sidewalls) mounted on 17x9.5 z06 size front rims and on the front??? How about some 27" tall 255/50/17 Nittos. Doesn't rub, fills the wheel wells out nicely and looks terrific. A lot of sidewall. I maintained the front/rear ratio and am really happy with this setup. However.... I do have coilovers so I can adjust things the way I want. It's possible this setup could rub on a car with stock shocks. I do not care at all for the rubber band look of the low profile tires with big rims.

What width rim in the front?
I don't think you can run anything taller than 26" in the front, I have 19's currently running a 255/35/19 tight fit when turning but no rubbing.
I know you have 18's so knowing the rim width would help.

If they make a 275/35/18 in the same tire that would be fine, as posted above, that tire is 25.6" tall & should fit. My car is lowered in the front 1-1/2" on drop spindles & bolts all the way down, & I also run a 285/35/19 in the rear & lowered 1-3/4"
A 265/35/18 would also work for that rim width, depends if you want the tire to protrude past the rim at all or flush, and that tire is 25.3" tall.

I am currently running 275/35x18 in the front with 48mm offset and no rubbing issues. My car was lowered and counter balanced when aligned. Autocrossing most weekends with extreme body roll and no rubbing.

OP, your current front and rear tires look to be awfully close in OD. Are you getting any "faults" from the active handling or traction control?
