Looks like the end of being a Corvette owner.I have been looking for a new "to me" boat and yesterday I found the one I wanted . The owner wanted 17k and I told him I would give him my white 2001 C5 convertible with 49k on it and in return he would give me the boat plus $1000.00. The boat has just been repowered with a new 115 HP Merc 4 stroke and a new 15HP Honda kicker that together cost him 13k. The boat is a kickass 17 ft Arima Ranger. I'm as happy as a clam in high tide.

The two happiest days in a boat owner's life....
The day he buys it, and the day he sells it.
I bet the seller is happier than you at the moment... so much that's he's even adding $1k to the deal.

Have fun with your new toy. We had a 32' Cruiser for 5 years and after some minor repairs the first season we LOVED it! Hated to see it go but we moved away from the water. Maybe in a few years we'll pick up another one when we retire to the Clearwater Beach area.
