Default Anyone who has a Redline Goods center console cover...

How did you attach it to the console? The elastic doesn't do the cover justice. Really needs to be pulled taut and fastened into place. I tried stapling (air power) and no luck. Damn staple wouldn't go through the plastic...

Did you remove the underside of the lid first?
When I had one, I took that off and stretched the cover over the lid, securing it with tape or glue, then reinstalled the lid bottom. You might try some heat in order to stretch the cover - mine did require some finessing but looked great when done.

Exactly the method I used... tape held it in place until I reinstalled bottom.

Seems like tape or glue is what I am missing... I've had covers from other manufacturers and they left enough material to go over the screw mounts...

Will try the tape method.

Elastic wasn't cutting it for me either. I cut it all off and did a proper glue/tuck job.

I cut my elastic off as well. Then took it to an upholstery shop and they did a great job installing it over the original cover with staples and adhesive I believe. Cost me $25. Money well spent I think as I would have probably f'd it up some how.

That sounds like an idea...

I like the crossed flags. I asked Jack about that when I placed my order, but never got a response...

What type of staples/stapler did you all use?

I used a pneumatic stapler and had zero luck... Went with glue. Didn't turn out terrible...
