Default Advice On Headers

Hey Folks,

I am looking to go full exhaust on my 99 Vert. Going to go with Corsa Sport because of my Tiger Shark Rear Fascia which I love, I'm not changing. Going with the X-pipe I assume...

So I need whats the best header for this combo? I want a beautiful sound. Horsepower isnt the reason for the upgrade, but I wont say no to it.. ..

Thanks

The only California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved street legal headers in CA are the B&B Short Tube Headers.

My C5Z has LS7 manifolds on it to pass Cali smog. It's a good solution, they do support 450+rwhp after all.

I may swap them out in the future, we'll see.

I had LG Motorsports LT Pro headers on mine and loved them. As mentioned above though if your in California you will not pass emissions with them. You will need shorty headers. If you move to Florida, well we don't know what emissions are.

I run the older Corsa Touring catback that I married with American Racing Headers. Love the sound.
(FYI - A R Headers come with an X-pipe.).

I have LG Street Series headers with LG high flow cats. They fit perfect and are reasonably priced. I also have the Corsa Sport exhaust. Love the sound problem is I can't keep my foot off the gas pedal.🏎

I've installed Kooks (old desgin), XS Power and recently installed LG Super Pro's and can't believe how easy the LG's went in and they fit excellent!

I have Corsa sports behind LG Pros with the LG Hi Flo cats. I love the set up and will argue its the best for the C5. Before that I had Borla stingers which I do not recommend with headers.
Make sure you purchase stage 8 bolts and Accel ceramic plug wire 9052C or you will have back firing issues. I learned.
