A/C gas-like smell?
When I turn on the a/c, a gas-like smell starts to emerge in the cabin within 2-3 minutes. Any suggestions as to why and what causes this? Thanks

automotive Freon is odorless. However, the oil used on the ac system does smell like oil. If the AC is working, chances are its not the AC system. If it has a pungent smell, it could be the heater core, with a very slight leak . the smell could be antifreeze vapor which will flow through the same ducts.
