I'm running the HIRs in the stock housing with the 4-way harness. I'd prefer not to deal with HID ballasts and wiring. I know the HIRs will fit, but have you tested them in this housing? I assume with the improved lens/projectors, that the housing alone should improve things. Will your housing handle the HIRs like the stock housing do?

If so, how much is the kit, without the extra wiring, 4 way, ballasts, and hid bulbs, etc?

I was kind of wondering the same thing. How much for just the lenses if you sell any that way?

I got the pricing, thank you. However, you did not address whether the HIR's or the stock bulbs will fit. I've read conflicting other threads that seem to suggest that the housings are made to fit H9's. Not sure of the difference, but I would need to confirm the 9005/9006 hole patterns are present. And second, the housings can tolerate the added heat.

The 9006 will not work. These use a H9 low versus the oem 9006. Our 55 watt lows are going to be the best option for lows.

Highs are still 9005 so yes those bulbs will work for highs.

They can handle heat no problem.

In that case, I will have to see if the HIR bulb can be modified to fit the H9 mount.

Well to help out the others, I found that the typical H9 bulb @ 2100 lumens puts out more than the HIR9012 @ 1875. So the H9 is a minor upgrade. The only issue left is figuring out of the 9006 connector will work, or be easily modified to accommodate the H9.

Wiring would be simple, the bulb slot would not. It's a completely different base for the H9 bulb.

Most roll with our 55 watt HID lows and put out some serious light
