I realize that, but GM did not keep records of the option/color combos for the C5, at least as far as I know. If you can find a better breakdown, please share it with us.

The actual breakdown of color option in relation to exterior color is not broken down by numbers for the C5 and would be nearly impossible to know (you would of literally needed some way to compile numbers for roughly 248,000~ cars). I do not believe even the Corvette "black book" breaks it down that far.
At absolute best, you could take the percentage of mod red as overall interior option for the Z06 - 12% - and ratio it against the number of machine silver Z06s for that MY, and get a rough educated guess. 12% of 967 machine silver Z06s is roughly 116 cars.
