Default Uniroyal Tiger Paws lousy any good?? Cheap tires

Uniroyal never used them, are they even worth looking at or just junk tires? C5 stock, daily driver use no racing. Thanks

Didn't know they still made these. I had a set years ago -- they were horrible; traction was terrible and tread life was dismal. Probably the worst tire I've ever owned.

Hankook Ventus V12's are great all around tires. Not as sticky as the Pilots, but much better life and the ride is fantastic.

Check out Continental DW or DWS06. I personally run DWS06 due to the rain and colder temps in spring and fall.

I had them on the rear. Zero traction in the rain, and couldn't even hold rolling 1st gear WOT without spinning. Went to Continental DW, much better wet traction and doesn't spin unless I do a clutch dump from a standstill. Granted, the tires I had on were almost 6 years old at the time, so it might be a bit unfair, but there are much better tires for not much more money.

At 15k the fronts had 6/32nds, rears we're about 4. I drive my car much harder than the average Vette driver, so I was was vastly impressed with that tread life. I say someone that drives easy to moderate will get 25 to 30 k. With that said, the last thing I care about is tread life for this car, grip is more inportant. I run re71rs now rears are about shot with 7k on them. I used the sport comp 2s on my turbo 370z after. I ditched the MPSS which I did not like, sidewalls are jello, and found I was please suprised with the comp 2s.

I put some achilles atr sport 2's on my car, they ride good and I drive very aggressive. They hold the road well and are not expensive at all.

I have a set of these on my car and have no complaints - they are a very good all around tire and the price is reasonable.

I bought these (Uniroyal Tiger Paw's) for my Cadillac DTS. They are owned by Michelin. They seem to be a good all around tire, with very little road noise and good tread wear warranty. The traction on wet roads is very good. Believe me, I live on the Gulf Coast and we get a ton of rain. Bought them through the Walmart Internet site, and had them delivered to the local Walmart. Installation and balance $54.00, plus the cost of the tires, no delivery charge. Overall a good deal.

Default Continental

Thank you all for your input. Appreciate the help. Going with the Continental Extremecontact DWS 6. Looking forward to seeing how they ride.

What a difference from those run flats. Feels like a different car. Much better ride.
