[QUOTE=Yello95;1595176324][QUOTE=Choreo;1595174642]Owned several C3's, C4's and the same C5 for the past 17 years as a DD. No way I could ever go back, but if I were rich, I would love to have another C3 just for nostalgia.

This was my first 1972 C3 - I will never forgive myself for having to sell it...

That is one big bad beautiful C3!

I've wanted a C3 for awhile, but have wondered about the costs of upgrading it to C5 level handling and braking. I'd love to resto-mod one.

Could you swing both? I have my C5 and an 81 I had first. Put some money into the 81s motor and its really fun. Much more raw than the C5 of course. Just depends on my mood which one I take out but the C3 always draws comments. Their getting hard to find that aren't tore up though or you going to pay for a nice one. Then you have to factor in the expense of fixing one up-you know its going to be a chunk. Every time I think of selling mine I think Ill never find one as nice again so I keep it ha ha.

I went the other way. Sometimes I miss my '79 but the '03 is great and much easier to maintain.
