A bit off-topic (what was the topic exactly), but interesting comment as yesterday I had to take the "Drive of Atonement" to get my annual Inspection Sticker. The crew of about 10 young workers there went crazy when I pulled my car into the bay and started shouting all kinds out the usual stupid questions, "How fast have you gone?", "How high does the speedometer go?", "Is it slammed? (like apparently they have to ask)", "What is the Horsepower?" Everyone was huddled around the car making all kinds of positive comments until one of the kids looked inside and said "Oh crap, it's at automatic!". Followed by a chorus of "Man, why did you buy an automatic?" as they all dispersed like it was poison.

I could have responded with my many reasons why I chose an automatic, but it would have been like trying to make an opposing argument to a Trump or Hillary fan.

I thought the purpose of this section was for us to be sold broken corvette interior parts and then told if we don't like them, that we probably just can't afford them.

Whatever the purpose of this thread was when it started, it sure got off track quickly since I last checked in. Name calling and insults, even mixed in with some decent conversation, doesn't make for a good read nor is it what this forum is all about. Sorry, but enough of this crap of being at each other's throats. This thread is . And now to consider whether any sanctions are required.
