widening the license plate hole
so my bumper needs some repair and I'll be re painting the whole car in time, also In the future I'll be going rear mount turbo.
Well after a few few drinks I tackled the bumper cutting. Going to widen the mouth and shorten the vents, I hate that the bumper reminds me of a 90's firebird.

Interesting mod...so far I think I like it. No longer a 90's Firebird, but I did get an initial 2000's Camaro vibe.

Tell me you don't see the similarities...2000 Camaro SS. Though I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Just uncanny how the cut lines look alike.
So what is the plan to finish it out? Make it functional for cooling, or just insert some grill material?

Thinking that this will mess up the aerodynamics as well as the intended flow of air to the radiator. From what I know GM had some very educated engineers design the front end of the car. Not only to look a certain way...but to function a certain way. If it were me I would not be second guessing them.

Tiger shark bumper....
i think it would have looked better if you followed the lines of the corner lights and vents like the tiger shark bumper. other wise it will look like a 4th gen camaro

I appreciate the fact that you are doing it yourself and not just buying parts and bolting them on. In the end it will be your one of a kind creation. That is what hot rodding is really all about. Good luck, have fun and do it your way.
