Love my vararam
I sold my last c5 in 2016 and since then I've always wanted a varam but due to my disability income I had to save sometimes 20 q month for a year and a half but I'm very pleased. With the correct power tools the install was nothing but FINALLY I got it. Will soon be selling my fog light shrouds

really nice do you know if the power duct with the varam b2 or what u have there is the same power duct that is sold for 90-100$ from jegs. Is yours the 97-00 with iat sensor hole or 01-04? Thanks appreciate any information it came with the couplers 4"-4" to attached tb- powerduct or is there a smaller inside reducer that fits over engine side of duct for 3.50"-4"? Looking to do the same just with the power duct.
Yours is the later 01-04 duct without the red writing thats the one im looking for they dont have them with iat sensor hole in black with black couplers. Wonder if the 01-04 duct kit will work a 99 and just drill the iat sensor hole.
In terms of dimensions does the varam powerduct sit stock height or is it a slight bit taller?

Mine is a 99 so yours has a hole for the iat sensor and grommet or did you get the 01-04 kit with the iat sensor in the maf? Mind sharing what specific powerduct you have there with hole for iat sensor and black couplers?

Good mod to the car and you should feel some performance gain from the Vararam.

I’m confused. If you “sold” your last C5 in 2016, what would you put the air intake on?
Did you “buy” your last C5 in 2016?

The vararam is a good mod for an intake. I had one once but wanted easier filter service so I sold it and got an open element one. I'm curious though, if you sold that white FRC in 2016, then when did you get your latest one? The one the vararam went on?

Nice mod. I'm also confused about you selling the car.

I'm not confused about your car situation. Thanks for posting the pic of your old one, very nice looking car. Been thinking about some of those on my car, but maybe painted. Mine is a black coupe, but my fav color is blue. Need some blue on mine, so maybe the wheels. This vararam thing may be something to think about too.

Great modification, I have a VR too. I used to have an open element aftermarket filter as well. Thought I would get an improvement at the track with the cold air, sorry, actually have the same track times. I only have like 3 passes with the VR, but it was a cold day, maybe to cold. Slight traction issue off the line, that will cost you 0.1-0.3 seconds instantly. If you really spin the tires off the line, that could cost you 0.5 to a full second in ET’s.
Hopefully more times coming this year.

What I meant about my last c5 is that I sold it in 16 due to finances and I just had to , divorce and becoming a single parent overnight. It was such a beautiful car and somewhat rare I guess. This one I have now is way ahead in condition and cleanliness. I'm happy I was able to get the vram

FYI... I have the VR and I'd like to have the filter be larger. Once at the track I ran 2 times, removed the filter, re-ran, and replaced the filter and ran again. It picked up 0.5-1.0mph in the non filter runs so I know a larger filter could free up a little power up top. (filter had been recently cleaned)
