Default Want to go back to pop-up headlights

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows what all is needed to go back to pop-up headlights? I bought the car and the previous owner swapped in fixed ones. I've searched all over, and all I can find is how to swap to fixed headlights. I don't want to start buying parts, then get started and realize I'm missing components. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I'd also recommend you post your location and maybe set up a meet with someone in your area who has either changed out the pop up to fixed or has done a ACA HID headlight change over. They should be experienced enough to see what you have and what parts your going to need to make the change over back to pop ups. You might also check with local Corvette clubs in your area for some local help.

I have a complete set of pop up headlights available. I am in Southern California. I am asking $800 for the complete set. I'll post some pictures later of what I have.

Here are the pictures of what I have available. These are off of a 2004. The color is Magnetic Red II. What you see in the pictures is what you get.

Front both Drivers and Passenger

Rear Drivers and Passenger

The headlight control module is included. The only thing I do not have are the nuts and bolts that attach these to the frame and wheel well.

With a bit of creative packaging I can shipping for $100.

Thanks Gary, I'll keep you in mind. I'm going to look around locally first (I'm in the Greenville, SC area), maybe check out Hawkes Performance to see if they have any too.

Do you still have these headlights? I just bought a 1999 the same color and he put stationary headlights on it and I don't like them. They should be the same.

+1 for the ACA headlights from sharp light innovations. You will need additional parts though if you're switching from fixed back to pop ups.

Please let’s not turn this thread into a FS ad since this section is C5 General. If you have something for sale, post a FS thread in the C5 Parts for Sale/Wanted section or Use the PM feature for contacting members.

Vetteman Jack, can you suggest to the people in charge that they do what other administrators do, and move old posts to an archive?

It wasn't really a problem until the "related posts" feature was introduced, but now people seem to get caught out with monotonous regularity.

Are you aware that you can turn off the related thread "feature"?

I turned it off as soon as I found what it did. But others clearly have not as they keep referencing ancient posts.
