Default Lowered on stock bolts

I took the plunge over the weekend and lowered the car on the stock bolts..
I expected to see little or no difference. I hoped to see a bit of lowering. What I got, even though it is right at 1 inch, looks extreme to my eye. I am really pleased with the result.
I don't have very definitive before and after pictures, but the difference can be seen most easily at the space above rear tire.
The first pic is before. The next two are after it was lowered.

That made a huge difference. Beautiful ride to start with.

Congrats on getting rid of your 4x4. Though I'd say you got another inch to go before I'd consider it extreme. Haha.

Thanks for the kind words. An added plus is it seems to handle a bit tighter in corners now.

Ok...maybe not extreme, but the stance/look is a bit more badass.

The only regret I have about lowering my car on stock bolts is that I didn't do it sooner.

7 to 8 full turns of the bolts gives you about an inch of travel. As there's such a high gap in the wheel well stock and running fairly low ratio tires any percentage of drop is very significant visually.

I love the look but I don't think it would be practical for me because of the roads. They're not terrible but I scrape a lot. But that sure looks good !

Very noticeable improvement, glad I did mine awhile ago.

You need a four wheel alignment now for sure.

Some new wheels to go with the lowering mod could make that car even more gorgeous!!

I completely agree.
I just haven't been able to decide which wheels. Yet.

I did the same a couple of weeks back (total drop was about an inch too), and so far happy I did. Looks better without the super slammed look (or feel). If you haven't done it already, swap out the sway bars too and you'll really feel a difference in handling!!!

Looks great. Don't forget to get an alignment as it will be off now, and you'll at the very least get uneven tire wear.
