Default 2 thumbs up for Wind Restrictor

I’m an over-thinker, talked myself out of the Wind Restrictor for several years. Didn’t think it could really help.
Finally installed one this weekend and it’s astounding! The customer service from Stephen was way above and beyond; best I’ve seen from anyone in years. Like the lifetime warranty, too.

The tornado of swirling wind is gone and music and conversation sound so much better. It modernizes the car and the red light at night looks awesome with the taillights. Plenty of air, just tamed.

If you’ve been debating, go for it. My wife couldn’t believe the difference it made.

Enjoying your Vert is number 1. And if the wind resister makes it good for you I enjoy all the wind road noise and whatever when I drive the Vert. Normally, i do not have the radio.CD playing when I drive with with the lid off. I like the sound of the car.

I’m with you except the wind noise was bothering what hearing I had left.

It's a nice piece but they're just too proud of it for me.

Looks really good all light up on the car and great that it tames the wind buffeting.

I agree and with hearing aids the wind noise is only amplified. For me, wind restrictor is a must.

Hi Ed- Respectfully, not sure what you mean. Every vendor should be proud of their products. Many seem to just jack up their prices because it’s for a Vette. But the product and the service I got from Wind Restrictor was beyond amazing. So very helpful every step of the way. I’ve trained sales and Customer service for decades and I’m not easily impressed. They went way above and beyond.

I could be wrong…….but I believe he means they want a lot of money for their product …..

Ouch……I see they are close to $500 without any adds……. . I would agree they are pretty proud…..

That's what I meant. It wasn't a cut on them as a company or quality.

I hear ya but nobody seems to complain about the cost of projector headlights, $1500 replacement vert tops, superchargers, etc. Anything for the c5 is priced like I’m a medical software CEO.
Best sale of the year for Wind Restrictor is til the 31st. I found their service was the best I’ve ever had for anything and the product is well made and makes the driving experience as quiet as you want and the wife happier. Well worth it to me. Especially the lifetime warranty.

Glad you posted, because I gained some insight. I had always considered such products more dude ranch than functionally needed, but now see they work well enough to be more than jewelry for cars. I figured it a product for people who own a convertible but never really embrace the deal, and drive around all the time with their windows rolled up, with the top down

Coming from a string of convertibles designed without any thought whatsoever towards mitigating the wind buffeting the driver while underway, I thought the top down experience with the C5 a great comfort improvement, and figured the situation good enough. But I do remember picking up my girl one time and she actually claimed out of her seat, going on the floor and under the dash to protect her long hair from the wind, in the little TR6 I had back then. So I completely understand adding a blocker. When I sold the pretty little Triumph , the buyer did say I should be ditching the girl and keeping the car. However, the girl was also really pretty, and a gentleman would never tell the rest.
