DIC Codes 1234 and 1295
I noticed I had some codes logged in the DIC.
They are:
C1234 LR Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
C1295 Brake Lamp Switch Circuit Open
They had an H at the end of them. I cleared them and then went out for a drive. They did not return.
I did an autocross event a few months ago and it had rained pretty hard and there was a lot of water on the course. That might of had something to do with these codes...
Does anyone have any experience with them? How do I check a speed sensor circuit?
Is the Brake Lamp switch the rear brake lights or a vanity plate light? My brake lights do work.
Any help is appreciated.
Dave

Can't help you on the brake light code.
On the wheel speed sensor, I'd just check and make sure the connection is snug and no dirt/debris around it. I had my RF one get a little loose (no idea why) and I had a code thrown (including ABS, which is all related). I pulled it apart, cleaned the connector with a dry rag, reconnected it and all was good.

Does anyone have a picture or drawing where the speed sensor or speed sensor hub is located?
Without having one I am guessing it can be found in the shop manual?
I would like to locate it and make sure it is clean and properly seated.
Thanks
Dave
