This was about 5 months ago.
The engine is apart again for a refresh along with transmission and twin disk clutch.
The bling has been repolished and the headers are now ceramic coated. The only thing not polished are the fuel injectors which are painted silver. Coil packs are relocated inside the fenders, wiring is minimized.
This is it when it's "needing a refresh"

I don't visit C5Gen much anymore but I was sharing pics with a friend and came across these. Loved this car. 427 NA engine 580/545 with a very small cam. Drove great and pulled like a tractor.
Long timers here may remember The Gentleman's Cruiser.
Totaled and went C7 with an Eforce blower now.

I think dressed up engine bays are great. I have ordered the dress up kit from RPI and should have it at the end of the month...I can hardly wait. Mine is just clean now.
